hi, it’s so good to see you

Maybe it’s time to fire this baby back up, eh. And maybe some updates since I’ve been gone, eh.

My last post was in 2016. I had to stop, I was finishing a Master’s dissertation and I would and could scroll through posts to infinity and beyond, what thesis?! Sorry I left without a word. It was too hard to quit it.

In 2017 I began a PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of York, UK. York is glorious. 5 years later, I’m back home, I have passed my PhD viva, I have not resubmitted the dissertation yet, I have a Research Associate/Fellow job and am also an Associate Lecturer.
